"Koshinkan" Mirepox Curry Flake has a long history in commercial curry roux, and it is a signature curry flake that has strong spice flavors of cumin, cardamom and black pepper. With a strong mirepox base made from onions, carrots and celery, and carefully ground together with a unique manufacturing method, these flavors come together in the flakes to create a stronger spice-scent than conventional roux.
It is very popular amongst the Japanese consumers for its strong, authentic curry flavours. This flake-type roux can be used in various ways, such as for udon or as a rice topping.
